This was probably the busiest month of traveling I have ever had and I loved it so much! If only I could travel this much every month ;). I first started off the month by finishing my junior year at Saint Cloud State University. One year to go!! Then that first Friday I headed off on my first adventure, a road trip! I traveled to Indiana & Illinois with my college bestie, Paytin. Our main goal of the trip was to see Garth Brooks perform at the University of Notre Dame, which was a SUCCESS! And let me tell you that whole stadium really knew how to party. We then drove to Chicago, Illinois to sightsee in the windy city. I had never really explored Chicago so that was a fun experience! After a day in Chicago, we made the 7ish hour trek home. I spent a couple of days at home coaching track and gymnastics before starting on another road trip. This time going west to Rapid City, South Dakota. This road trip also had the goal of making it a concert, this time Morgan Wallen's Dangerous Tour. I have not traveled much out in the western United States so it was fun to see different popular places and scenery. I especially enjoyed Badlands National Park, Bear Country U.S.A., and the little bit we saw of the Black Hills. Morgan Wallen was a hit with the crew and while I won't say I'm a major fan he makes some pretty good music :). HARDY on the other hand I was not a fan of, but I loved Larry Fleet's humble classic country vibes. After that trip, I had a little more time at home before catching a flight to Orlando. Jason and I took a quick trip out to Florida mainly from him to see Formula Drift (which I now know is not car racing and is actually a little bit interesting). We didn't have the greatest weather but we still got to explore Orlando a bit. No stops at Disney or Universal theme parks this time around :( but I did show Jason Disney Springs and the City Walk. All in all, it was a great month filled with great friends, new experiences, and lots of memories. I am always so grateful to be able to travel and see parts of the big beautiful world God created.

First stop: University of Notre Dame & Chicago, Illinois

The road trip to see Garth Brooks at Notre Dame Stadium was a blast! Garth puts on a great show. I saw on TikTok that he leaves the first two rows open and has his crew pick out and invite some people at the very top to take those spots. Well, we learned that is indeed true and were about 5 rows away from getting chosen 😲. That night we drove to Chicago so we could sightsee the next day. We rode the train into Chicago and rode the Big Bus Tour around the city; stopping at Willis tower, the bean, and Navy Pier. There is definitely more to see so I will have to go back another time! We headed home the next day and stopped at a Portillos for lunch!

Second stop: Rapid City, SD

A few days later I headed to Rapid City to see Morgan Wallen in concert. We stopped at The Badlands National Park on our way there and back which was awesome! We got to see sheep, bison, and prairie dogs in the park and at our stop at Bear Country U.S.A we got to see lots of other animals! At the concert, I wore my cow print flare jeans which I was very excited about 🤠. I'm not a huge concert person, so 2 in one month is a lot haha. But I am always a fan of some country music!

Final stop: Orlando, FL

The last stop on my adventure and the first trip of the month that required an airplane... Florida! I have been to Orlando a few times, but it was Jason's first time! It was crazy busy, we stayed right in the Amusement park resort area. Our main reason for picking Orlando was because flights were cheap(ish) and Jason wanted to see Formula Drift. We drove to the Orlando Speedworld track and smelled lots of burning rubber and smoke. We also checked out Disney Springs (my favorite!) and the Universal City Walk where we got that huge milkshake :). On the last day in Florida, we drove a little ways to Cape Canaveral where Bryn has gone to tournaments before but we did something new and checked out The Kennedy Space Center. It was cool to see all of the space history and even some of what the future of space travel will look like. Our last stop was Cocoa Beach and the Ron Jon Surf Shop there! We almost didn't go for a swim in the ocean, but I am glad we did it was one of our favorite parts of the trip!
